Scott Pomeroy

Chief Executive Officer:

Scott Pomeroy brings over 30 years of experience in chief executive and senior financial roles. He has extensive experience in executive, strategic and financial roles with early-stage, growth, and mature organizations. Along with his executive experience, he has a broad range of experience in all facets of corporate governance, corporate strategy, and is deeply experienced with mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets transactions.

After graduating from the University of New Mexico with a BBA, with an emphasis in Accounting, in 1984, he received his CPA (currently inactive) in New Mexico. That same year he began his career with KPMG in Albuquerque, New Mexico (focused on health care).

In addition to being a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Medical Partners, Scott is Chairman of the Board for a developing aircraft design and manufacturing firm, and US Government Contractor. Before starting Pinnacle, Scott spent some time as the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors for a media company based in New Zealand.

When he’s not in the office, Scott enjoys travelling with his family, and, as a resident of the Mile High State, watching Broncos football. He loves skiing in the Rocky Mountains, and is also a wine connoisseur.

Chuck Josenhans CFO
Chuck Josenhans

Chief Financial Officer and Co-founder:

With a career that has spanned over 29 years, Chuck Josenhans has a wealth of experience in senior financial roles, leading mergers and acquisitions, and leading business improvement initiatives. He also has a great deal of experience with all facets of financial management and financial operations, along with a great deal of experience in CFO roles and revenue performance management.

Chuck graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Accounting in 1985. He began his career with Ernst & Young in Seattle, Washington, and received his CPA in Washington State in 1987 (currently inactive).

Before becoming a Co-Founder and CFO of Pinnacle Medical Partners, Chuck was the interim CFO for a pharmaceutical services company operating in Europe and the U.S., and he was a consultant and project manager with Scott Pomeroy at a New Zealand based media company.

When Chuck is not working, he enjoys spending time on his boat, utilizing his state-of-the-art smoker, and sipping Manhattan’s.

Tensie Homan Axton

Chief Operating Officer:

Tensie Axton has 25 years of experience in chief financial and vice president roles. She has extensive experience in executive, strategic and financial roles with early-stage, growth, and mature organizations.  As a CPA and experienced mergers and acquisition professional, including nine years as a Partner at KPMG LLP, she has performed due diligence on more than 200 companies in the U.S and Internationally.

Tensie graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA, with an emphasis in accounting, in 1990. That same year she began working for KPMG in Fort Worth, Texas.

In addition to working at Pinnacle Medical Partners, Tensie is the Co-Founder and CEO of a company that specializes in helping business owners preparing to exit their business in the coming years. Tensie also created a bank holding company in 2010 to acquire distressed banks in Colorado and surrounding markets.

When Tensie is not in the office, you will find her at home in Texas spending time with her family, and watching football.

Kelly M. Lennon, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer:

Dr. Kelly M Lennon has been a Physician leader in the South Denver market since 1987.  He is a native of Iowa and a graduate of Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Medicine degrees.  Upon completion of his specialized training at the University of Florida-Jacksonville, Dr. Lennon moved to the Denver area and became a founding physician for South Denver Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Along with being a busy father at home, Dr. Lennon is involved in many activities and organizations, both professional and private.  He is a board certified member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has served as the Medical Staff President for Littleton Adventist Hospital.  Additionally, he has served on many hospital sponsored committee’s for provider credentialing, quality assurance and patient safety.  Currently, he is the senior partner for South Denver Obstetrics and Gynecology and sits on the Castle Rock Adventist Hospital Community Board.  With this experience, Dr. Lennon brings a well balanced approach to his role as Chief Medical Officer for Pinnacle Medical Partners.

In spite of his current responsibilities, Dr. Lennon finds time to enjoy his family, gardening, cooking, reading, home brewing, snowboarding and golf.

Andrew Gustafson

Vice President, Business Development:

Andrew Gustafson has 20 years of experience in senior roles focusing on accounting, strategic development, and integration of businesses of all sizes. He also has a great deal of experience in all facets of the healthcare industry, including practice acquisition and onboarding. Before joining Pinnacle Medical Partners, Andrew was a manager at Subsidium Healthcare and responsible for business development at Emory Healthcare.

Andrew graduated from California Lutheran University in 1995 with a BS in Accounting. He later attended the University of Colorado Denver to receive his MBA in Healthcare Administration in 2002.

Andrew spends his free moments coaching his kid’s football and baseball teams. When he’s not coaching, he’s watching their soccer games.

Todd LeVigne

Senior Vice President, Systems & Process:

With a career spanning over 29 years, Todd Levigne has a great deal of experience in senior IT leadership roles, project and program management, enterprise systems implantation, business integration, and improvement initiatives. He also has extensive experience in asset accounting and materials management, supply chain operations, and EMR applications.

Todd graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in accounting. Sometime after Todd spent some time as the senior auditor for the Department of Defense.

Before helping start Pinnacle Medical Partners, Todd was the interim CIO for a pharmaceutical services company operating in Europe and the U.S.

In his free time, you will find Todd spending time with his family. He loves coaching and watching baseball – he is an avid Rockies fan!  Todd also enjoys spending time on the golf course.

Jonathan Mahan

Vice President, Revenue:

A native of New Zealand, Jonathan “Jono” Mahan has over eight years of experience across various senior financial and strategic roles. He has extensive experience in financial modeling, corporate finance, financial planning, business strategy and online advertising.

Jono graduated from the University of Otago in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance.  After completing his degree he began working for NZ’s largest directory company, Yellow, where he was heavily involved in a broad range of areas across the business including business strategy and managing the treasury and corporate finance functions during the companies debt restructuring process.

In his spare time Jono likes to keep active, including taking advantage of Colorado’s snow in the winter months and his early mornings at the gym.

Valerie Holt

Director, Human Resources & Community:

Valerie Holt has over 15 years of experience in senior human resources roles focusing on business and HR strategy, employee relations, employment law, and corporate social responsibility. She also has a great deal of experience in all facets of human resources with a healthcare focus, including talent acquisition and retention, culture engineering, employee engagement, and learning and development.

Valerie graduated from Regis University in Denver, Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and later returned to complete her MBA. She obtained and currently holds certifications in human resources, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

In her free time, Valerie enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Broncos, cooking, and gardening.

Don Purdy

Vice President, Ancillary Services:

Don Purdy brings 27 years of experience in senior leadership positions. He has extensive experience in marketing, business development, strategy development and process optimization, mainly in the aerospace industry. Along with his technical skills, Don is passionate about mentoring and coaching every member of his staff.

Don graduated from Baylor University with a BSCE degree, and later received his MBA from the University of Iowa.

Before joining Pinnacle Medical Partners, Don worked heavily with the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group in Seattle and Long Beach.

When Don is not in the office, he is at his home in Texas riding motorcycles. He also enjoys any kind of home improvement project and playing golf. Don has a heart for missions and has spent time in India, Africa, and Haiti, and is looking forward to future mission trips.

Michael Sabol

Vice President, Revenue Performance Management:

Michael Sabol has nearly thirty years of extensive experience in senior and executive leadership roles. He has an extensive background in private and public accounting, reporting rules, and systems and controls. He focused on biofuels companies through his previous tenures as the Chief Accounting Officer of Ensyn Fuels Inc. and Chief Financial Officer of Range Fuels Inc. While at Range Fuels, he helped secure the first ever loan guarantee under the USDA 9003 program supporting biofuels development. He also has experience in leadership roles in the finance group of multinational companies including Quest Communications, Bell Atlantic and Remington Arms Company.

Michael graduated from King’s College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and English. After graduating, Michael began his career at Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as an audit manager.

In his free time Michael enjoys skiing, running and working with his church and local Boy Scout Troop.

Lisa Fallon

Corporate Controller:

Lisa Fallon has nearly 25 years of experience in executive and senior accounting roles. She brings a wealth of knowledge in strategic and financial roles with organizations at any stage of development. Lisa also has extensive experience with all areas of financial management and financial operations, along with some experience in revenue performance management. Before coming to Pinnacle, Lisa spent time at a local company specializing in organic and home grown foods.

Lisa graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a BSBA in Finance and Accounting. She then received her MBA from the same University and worked with KPMG Peat Marwick in Norfolk, Virginia and Arthur Andersen in Miami, Florida shortly thereafter.

In her free time, Lisa can be found spending time with her kids. They play many sports, so she can be found at their football, volleyball and hockey games. If she doesn’t have a sporting event to attend, you’ll find her at home building robots with the kids.
